WHAT TO EXPECT
A coffee origin experience designed specifically for all coffee lovers
LA PALMA & EL TUCAN COFFEE ADVENTURES is a coffee experience straight at the source, at origin, designed specifically for all coffee lovers to bridge the gap between them and what lies behind their everyday cup of coffee.
Located only 90 minutes away from Bogota, the capital city, this region is blessed with exuberant nature that offers the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of a big city.
LA PALMA & EL TUCAN COFFEE ADVENTURES is not just a farm tour. We have designed the experience to be highly active, engaging and educational at every turn, be it at the greenhouse, picking coffee, in the laboratory or at the mill.
Our goal is to bring our visitors all the way in so that they can leave having taken away something real.
Some activities offered will be seasonally dependent. A visit in-season will afford more hands-on opportunities, while out-of-season will afford more cultural/community opportunities. It is our hope that in this way each experience will be unique, and none more desirable than the other.

Comfortable hiking shoes to walk around the farm and to get muddy, windbreaker jacket and sweater in case the weather gets cooler. Sunscreen, cap or hat and mosquito repellent are also very useful.
Yes! The kitchen and dining area is located at the open social area called “The Terrace”. We serve local, freshly harvested and organic dishes made with produce that we source from local producers and our own vegetable garden.
